A Olympus revelou durante um evento em Cingapura, o lançamento de novas câmeras digitais da linha FE (Fashionable & Elegant), prevista para chegarem ao mercado no início de agosto.
As câmeras são equipadas com zoom de alto alcance com a possibilidade de imagens feitas em lentes grande angular, corpo fino e design superior.
(FE-4010, FE-4000 e FE-5020)
As primeiras são as FE-4010 e FE-4000, ambas com CCD de 12MP, zoom óptico de 4x, lente grande angular de 26mm e tela de 2,7 polegadas.
Já a FE-5020 conta com zoom óptico de 5x, lente grande angular de 24mm, tela de 2,7 polegadas e sensor de 12 mega pixels.

- Shadow Adjustment Function helps to increase the brightness in the picture when using in I-Auto Mode (Only Available in FE-4010)
- Compare Shot that shows multiple results of exposure compensation or Magic Filter on a single screen for comparison
- 14 versatile scene modes including night mode and pet mode (13 scene modes with the FE-4000)
- MASD-1 microSD attachment provided to enable recording and playback to/from microSD and microSDHC cards.
